Three-phase Commutating Chokes

The Commutating Chokes are designed for:

  1. Limiting the amplitude of current shocks and transient effects upon connecting to the grid.
  2. Limiting the start-up and commutating currents of static frequency inverters (drives) - on the input side.
  3. Similar use on the output side of the inverters - so-called motor chokes for preventing motor oscillation, compensating the capacity and resonance of the power cable or creating an output RLC filter.
  4. The dimensions apply generally also for chokes for other purposes.
